Track days

In ever-so-'umble opinion of the webmaster, just about the best thing you can do with a Rush
is to take it on a track day. Only that way can you find out what the car is really capable of.
There are many organisers of track days. The best consolidated list that I've found is on
the TotalKitCar site, but even that does not have all
the track days on it. It's a good idea to watch the web sites of the main organisers, who also appear on the TotalKitCar
site.

Carcraft 2005
Stafford County Showground, Staffordshire
A large, bustling event that starts the season off in style, usually with several new model launches. Supported by most of the industry's big names, lots of accessory and parts stands, big second-hand car sales section, many club displays etc. One of the country's main events, this one is not to be missed. The Stoneleigh Kitcar Show, Stoneleigh Showground, Warwickshire.
This is arguably the year's biggest kit car show. Inside the new exhibition hall, you'll find just about every
serious kit car manufacturer, not to mention loads of accessory stands. Outside always plays host to hundreds of
enthusiasts who've brought along their own kit cars plus food stalls and family entertainment.

A Beach Hut Rush!
Something different this year with a BBQ at Jane & Steve’s Mudeford beach hut near Christchurch. Yep meet at 12:00 at their beach hut and enjoy a relaxing BBQ and sunbathe. Swimming optional! The Annual Uxbridge Auto Show
Nr Uxbridge Middx. Run by the Rotary Club of Uxbridge as a charity event, there is no cost to enter but donations are gratefully received. Kimbolton Charity Classic 2005
This is a truly great day out, not just for us car nuts but for the whole family, so even if you don't yet have "My Precious" Rush on the road yet don't let that put you off. For those of you who know nothing about this terrific day out then please visit www.sportingbears.org.uk

The event organisers are trying to raise more cash than ever this year in aid of the Tsunami relief fund so any donations on the day will be duly handed over. I will actually be attending this year now that my Rush is otr so even more reason to come, even if it's just to take the p**s. Let's have a good attendance this year to wave the flag.
